It looks as if the future of clean cars has arrived, and Fisker Automotive is leading the way with the newly revealed Karma PHEV. The new Fisker commercial makes public the latest in a line of innovative eco-friendly vehicles and boasts a witty tag line that says it all: "Designed to get you hot, not the planet."

If that wasn't enough evidence of Fisker Automotive's dedication to providing green cars, as a factory option, the Karma can be fitted with a solar paneled roof for recharging the lithium ion batteries as well aiding in cabin climate control. The company estimates the average driver will only have to refill the fuel tank annually, provided they do not drive more than 50 miles (80 km) a day.
