Segways monitor the rider's center of gravity about 100 times a second. When the rider leans forward, the
Segway HT moves forward. When the rider leans back, the Segway HT moves backward. A walking lean produces a
walking rate, a steeper running lean will bring the machine to its top speed. The Segway HT stops when you right
yourself again.
