The Crystalyte Phoenix Racer Electric Bike Kit (bicycle not included) gives your favorite bicycle “power on demand.” Install the kit and you can still ride your bike like a regular bicycle, or travel by 100% electric power, or any combination of the two. The Crystalyte Phoenix is the most powerful electric bike kit on the market. The Phoenix Racer’s motor is wound more for speed than torque. The 4840 tops out at a lightning fast 36 mph, the fastest of all three motors in the Phoenix lineup. The Phoenix Racer Electric Bike Conversion Kit is the one to grab if you want high speeds and ride on hard surfaces with "normal" grades, or have a small wheel diameter. We recommend buying a racing slick style tire for sustained high speed and reduced rolling resistance. The Racer can be customized to fit your wants and needs. You pick the power output (4840 or 3640 system), throttle, rim size, front or rear wheel drive and the bike. The kit comes pre-wired and is easy to install.

• Motor: No maintenance, brushless hub motor.
• Drive System: There are no chains, belts, pulleys, gears, or sprockets. The motor is connected directly to hub of the wheel.
• Charge Time: 3-5 hours.
• Rim: Your choice of a 20", 24", 26" and 700c heavy duty, double walled rim. A Slime Tube flat resistant inner tube comes with all tires except the 700c rim.
• Throttle: Your choice of a half-twist, full-twist or thumb throttle. If your bike has twist shifters, you'll want to select a thumb throttle.
• Cruise control: Set your speed, then release the throttle. It operates just like the one in your car.
• Brake inhibit: This safety feature triggers when you activate the brakes. It turns off the throttle and cruise control.
• Crystalyte Warranty: SLA Batteries: 6 months, Motor: 180 days, Controller/Charger/Throttle: 90 days.

You mount the wheel, throttle, cruise control, rack or basket, and power bag, push together the connectors, and ride.
