"The Birdy Ice Blue is a folding touring bike who's performance rivals many full size models that cost many times the price. The Ice Blue features SRAM's 'Dual Drive' 3 x 8 gearing set up, for a full range of 24 touring gears. The dual suspension system will keep you comfortable on long hauls, and the comfort stem allows several different riding positions. Also included is a rear folding rack for strapping down gear, that is specifically designed to stay out of the way while folding.
The Birdy series of folding bikes are a pleasure to ride. Designed by the award winning German design firm Riese and Müller, these dual suspension folders have superior ride characteristics usually found on full size bikes costing much more.
The unique dual suspension set up makes for a very smooth ride on all types of surfaces. The suspension can be fully tuned for different riding styles by replacing the rear suspension blocks. All Birdy models roll on 18"" wheels for a nice combination of rideability and compact folded size. There are Birdy models suitable for commuting, touring and pleasure riding.
